Nicole and Amr have a history of holidays by the Lake so wanted their outdoor ceremony to celebrate this. We simply decorated the rustic archway with silks and huge fresh floral arrangements that would complement the bouquets and bridesmaids dresses. These were transferred to the hall later to decorate their venue. We also creatively covered a bright yellow park bench with black cloth and little bud vase arrangements (that were also transferred to the bridal table). This made a gaudy public picnic table look more dreamy and romantic as this is where they were to sign the register.

After the ceremony the guests moved to the local community hall, but we wanted to transform it into a beautiful wedding venue. We did this by ensuring the roof space was draped and we also hid the dance floor behind full length black curtains for the reception. We covered the wall behind the bridal party with white curtains on our frame that was also draped with fairy lights.

The tables themselves were lined with many bud vases filled with locally sourced greenery and fresh florals. The bud vases were of different sizes, colours and textures to add interest. There were also many candles – some pillar, some tea light and some taper in gold candle sticks. Woven amongst all of this was a white organza table runner and copper seed lights. Baby blue muslin napkins bought the blue from the lake outside inside. The table numbers were round mirrors which matched the smaller round mirrors with guest place names. White linen and white chair covers added to the overall look – it was a wedding after all!
